If you get asked to share information, over the phone or online, verify the request through another channel. Your bank is calling? Verify their number on their website or the back of your credit card before continuing the conversation.

Stop clicking the "Remind Me Later" button and ALWAYS keep your software and apps up to date.

Remember your phone and laptop aren't the only devices that can be hacked. That smart microwave? Make sure it has the latest software and check the manufacturer privacy defaults before connecting it to other devices.
